The Top 10 Speaking Mistakes (and How to Avoid Them!) ((DESCRIPTION))

Are you confident enough to hear the truth?

Most presenters make crucial mistakes that disconnect their audience.

What happens if you make the same mistakes over and over again?

They become a habit. They become part of you and your style.

In 1992, Darren LaCroix bombed miserably in a Boston Comedy Club. Just nine years later he out-spoke 25,000 contestants from 14 countries to become the World Champion of Public Speaking with a very funny speech.

Darren admits there is NO WAY he could have won without a Speaker Coach to point out his mistakes and bad habits. He actually had 2 coaches. One coach, Mark Brown, the 1995 World Champion gave him the exact opposite advice as everyone else. Champions think differently.

After a decade of coaching speakers and corporate presenters at all levels, Darren has seen it all. Using his coach’s eye he can easily see the common mistakes that most presenters make.

  • Darren LaCroix outspoke 25,000 contestants from 14 countries to become the World Champion of Public Speaking. He did it with a very funny speech. Some said it was one of the best speeches in the history of the contest.

Since that victory, Darren travels the world demystifying the process of creating a powerful presentation. His story has roused audiences in faraway places like Australia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, China, Oman, Malaysia, and Taiwan with his inspirational journey from Chump to Champ. He is passionate about showing people that if you are a sponge and have the right mentors, anything is possible.

Darren is currently the only speaker in the world who is a CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), an AS (Accredited Speaker), and a World Champion of Public Speaking.

Hi, What are the charges for attending Darren’s presentation? I am a member of District 41 and will be in Perth in the week starting 6th Feb. It will be a good opportunity to attend this meeting at TLI.
