More Than a Membership
From 3 August 2026, Toastmasters International will increase its international membership dues. While no one enjoys hearing about rising costs, it’s also a timely opportunity to reflect on the value of being part of Toastmasters.
Your membership is much more than attending a club meeting twice a month. It is an investment in skills that benefit every area of life, whether you’re speaking up in a meeting, leading a team, interviewing for a new role or simply growing in confidence.
Across District 17, members gain access to opportunities that extend well beyond their own club. Leadership training, educational webinars, speech contests, conferences and district events all provide practical experiences that build communication, confidence and leadership skills. These are the same skills valued in workplaces, community organisations and everyday life.
Your club membership fee supports your local club, helping provide a welcoming place to learn and grow. Your Toastmasters International dues support the global education programme, online learning resources and the systems that connect more than 270,000 members around the world.
When you look at everything included, Toastmasters continues to represent exceptional value, not simply because of what you receive, but because of who you become.
If you’re already a member, now is a great time to speak with your club committee about renewing before the new international dues take effect on 3 August.
