Club Officer Training in Bunbury
On Saturday, 11 July, six Southern Division members travelled to Bunbury to support Area S34’s club officers as they prepared for the new Toastmasters year.

With Area Director Isaiah overseas for a family event, Frank Crisafio brought together a team of experienced members and a new Area Director to deliver Club Officer Training closer to home for Area S34.
The response was fantastic. Almost 20 of the 35 club officer roles were represented, including several new faces joining their club leadership teams.

The session covered the Toastmasters structure, the transferable skills gained through club leadership and a review of the previous Toastmasters year. Officers also explored the Distinguished Club Program, their individual roles, Club Central, Base Camp and the next steps for 2026.

One of the most rewarding moments came through the feedback. A long-time member shared that the session had reignited their interest in exploring Pathways after feeling uninspired for some time. Others appreciated the practical tips that could make their officer roles easier and less stressful.

And, of course, Patricia’s delicious afternoon tea was a highlight!
A big thank you to everyone who attended, to Morrie for coordinating the club officers and to Paul for providing the venue.
We look forward to returning to Bunbury for the second round of Club Officer Training—and supporting Area S34 throughout the year.
