The Importance of Soft Skills in Professional and Personal Life and How You Can Gain Them

An online workshop on the importance of soft skills in professional & personal life and how to gain them, covering what soft skills are, why they are important and how you can gain them – including how Toastmasters can help you.

With the following presenters, who have extensive experience in this area from both a professional and personal perspective and who have led teams both professionally and as District leaders.

• Keynote from Maree Pickens, fresh from her recent District Conference success, a current senior District leader who has extensive experience in the importance of soft skills from her various industry roles.
• Presentation from Gavin Hyslop, a past senior District leader, with professional experience managing teams and dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders, as project manager & development manager in the property industry.
• Noor Talpur will lead a panel discussion on the topic and Noor has experience as a District leader and a professional team leader, roles that have taught him about the importance of soft skills.

Open to everyone who is a D17 member, who wants to learn about the importance of soft skills in professional and personal life and how you might gain them.
