TIME POOR? NEED A MORE FLEXIBLE OPTION?
A novel Club Officer Training option, developed by D72 NZ, are self-paced, online club officer role modules. You need a gmail account in order to access them and they include an assessment to confirm you've completed the training. It means you can do your club role based learning any time, anywhere that suits you! Once you've completed your role module, the D72 Program Quality Director will advise D17 PQD Maree Pickens and we'll update our COT tracker to credit you with completing training.

Round 2 Club Officer Training – Tailored, Practical, Essential
District 17 is building on this year’s enhanced Club Officer Training experience to deliver a tailored learning session for each club officer role. Many of you completed Round 1 between June and August — now it’s time to complete Round 2 Training and take your leadership and your club to the next level.
Launched December 2025, Round 2 offers a fresh, interactive format featuring scenario-based facilitated breakouts, new content, and opportunities to collaborate with fellow leaders across the district. Whether you’re continuing your development or catching up after missing Round 1, this session is designed to equip you with practical tools and real-world insights to help your club thrive.
Why attend?
Completing Round 2 helps your club meet the Training Goal in the Distinguished Club Program, a key requirement in your Club Success Plan. You only need to attend one of these sessions — if you missed the festive in-person early bird event in December, choose the chilled out online options or the next in-person session in February. Pick the date and format that works best for you and register!
