Go for Winter Gold – Let’s Cheer, Celebrate, and Commit!
As the world turns its eyes to the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, District 17 has a unique chance to shine just as brightly as the athletes we’ll be cheering for. Our new incentive, Go for Winter Gold, is all about spirit, creativity, teamwork, and the pride we share as Toastmasters across Western Australia.
This summer, we’re inviting every club to show their support for our Australian teams by predicting how many Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals Australia will bring home across both Games. All you need to do is:
Capture your club’s moment
Take a club photo with your banner, and proudly hold up your medal predictions—Gold, Silver, and Bronze! The bolder and more creative, the better.
Raise your voice, raise your commitment
Alongside your medal predictions, declare how many of your members will renew this term. Let’s show the true spirit of a winning team—one that sets its goals, commits confidently, and follows through.
This is your club’s chance to celebrate together, have fun, and inspire others—all while strengthening your membership and cheering on the athletes representing us on the world stage.
Let’s go for Winter Gold, District 17…and beat our best!
Because champions aren’t just found on the slopes—they’re found in our clubs.
Step 1: Capture the moment: At your next club meeting, take a photo with your club banner, and a sign with a message showing your club commitment:
- Australia will win X Gold / X Silver/ X Bronze medals
- Our club will renew XX members
Step 2: Send your photo to our Public Relations Manager PRM@toastmastersd17.org before end Monday February 16 to earn a bonus 10 points
Step 3: Get your renewals in early before 15 March. Any club that gets 80% or more of their renewals paid to TI by then will go into the draw for a special prize!
