The FIFA World Cup is all about teamwork, preparation, and performing at your best when it matters most.
From 11 June to 23 August, the District 17 World Cup Challenge brings the excitement of the World Cup to our clubs. Build momentum, engage your members, and earn points as your club competes for prizes, recognition, and World Cup glory.
There are two ways to win:
World Cup Bonus Challenges
Open to all clubs. Earn bonus points by capturing your team spirit, sharing your club vision, and committing to your game plan.
World Cup Leaderboard Competition
Earn points through leadership, learning, and membership growth activities. Clubs will compete in size-based tiers, giving every club a fair chance to climb the leaderboard and claim victory in their tier.
Exciting Prizes to Be Won
Win Toastmasters merchandise, a professional promotional reel for your club, and World Cup Inspired Prize Packs worth up to $150.

These challenges are open to all clubs and provide bonus points towards your overall score.
Capture Your Team Spirit
Due: 10 July | 10 Points
Take a club photo with your Toastmasters banner and show off your World Cup spirit.
Wear club colours, football-themed costumes, scarves, face paint, team jerseys, or get creative with your presentation. Show District 17 what makes your club unique.
Don't forget to include your club's World Cup prediction – which team do you think will win the FIFA World Cup, and how many goals do you think Australia will score in total in the tournament?

Earn points throughout the campaign by participating in activities that support leadership, learning and membership growth.
Clubs will compete against others of a similar size, with separate leaderboards for each tier.

Level the Playing Field
Just like the FIFA World Cup, the best competitions are fair competitions.
To ensure every club has a genuine chance to win, clubs will compete within one of three tiers based on club size.
Each tier will have its own leaderboard and champions.
Club Competition Tiers
Tier 3 – Small Clubs - 12 or less members
Tier 2 – Medium Clubs - 13-19 Members
Tier 1 – Large Clubs - 20+ Members
There are rewards available through both the World Cup Bonus Challenges and the World Cup Leaderboard Competition.
World Cup Bonus Challenge Prizes
Best Team Spirit Photo & FIFA World Cup Prediction
Awarded to the club that best combines World Cup spirit, creativity, and football forecasting.
Entries will be judged on:
- Club spirit and creativity
- Use of the Toastmasters banner
- Accuracy of the club's predictions of the FIFA World Cup Final and Australia's total goal count
Prize:
- World Cup inspired Toastmasters games pack
Best Club Vision
Awarded to the club that submits the most inspiring vision for the year ahead.
Prize:
- A professionally produced promotional reel for your club to use on your website and social media.
World Cup Leaderboard Competition Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in each club-size tier.
Champions Pack – $150 Value
For the clubs that go all the way and lift the trophy.
Packed with premium Toastmasters-themed resources and practical speaking tools, this bundle is designed to support your club's continued success both on the stage and behind the scenes.
Runners-Up Pack – $100 Value
A strong finish deserves strong rewards.
