Club Officer Training Highlights
As part of Club Officer Training in November we had a wonderful opportunity to offer an internship to a budding videographer, Lawrence Sukmanegara. He is a very talented young Curtin Screen Arts graduate, who was very keen to have industry experience, especially in events videography.
Lawrence Sukmanegara is an Indonesian-Australian filmmaker who is based in Perth. He focuses on light-hearted and unexpected human connections, showcasing interactions with natural and urban beauty. When not traveling, he enjoys creating multicultural short films, animations, graphics and the occasional music video with the aim of connecting with other adventurous, creative souls.
He believes that pure creativity is an artist’s greatest achievement, and he looks up to those who are genuine, collaborative and incredibly fun to work with. The desire is to capture spontaneous and elusive moments that can inspire a kinder world.
Having never attended a Toastmasters meeting, let alone a Club Officer training session, Lawrence stepped up and dived deep! He interviewed many workshop leaders and participants, spent countless hours editing the footage and created a marvellous short video that highlights the many benefits of the Club Officer training.
