District Council Meeting

The District Council Meeting will be held on Saturday 15 May 2021, commencing at 1:15pm via Zoom.

The District Council consists of Club Presidents and Club Vice Presidents Education, along with the District Executive Committee. The District Executive Committee consists of the District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Public Relations Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Immediate Past District Director, Division Directors and Area Directors.

Your confirmation email from Eventbrite will include the Zoom link required to join the meeting.

Please be aware that your club must be “active” and have at least 8 paid members to be eligible to participate in the meeting. Further, individual District Council Members must be paid members of the club/s they are representing and for those on the District Executive Committee, paid in at least one club. Inactive members and ineligible clubs are not permitted to participate in the meeting.

Please note that protests related to the District Leadership Committee report must be submitted to the District Director at least 14 days before the District Council Meeting (being Saturday 1 May). Workshop – Demystifying Meetings and Motions

There will be an online workshop on Saturday 15 May from 9:00am to 10:00am as part of the District Conference to help District Council Members get a better understanding of meeting procedures and how motions and voting works. If you find District Council Meetings confusing, this workshop is a must for you!
