Join the 2020-21 District 17 team to develop your leadership and communication skills.
You will serve others. You will enjoy the experience as we recognise the accomplishments of our members, clubs and District 17.
We promoted details of the new nomination process at all Division Contests in late 2019.

Nomination Process
To nominate you need to complete and lodge the following documents with the Chair District Leadership Committee
- Candidate Application
- District Leader Nominating Form
- Officer Agreement and Release Statement
- District Leader Biographical Information
Please send us a recent headshot photograph of yourself.
We will arrange an interview with you at a convenient time after 10 March 2020.
Once you nominate please review these documents:
Only nominees interviewed by the District Leadership Committee may stand from the floor at the District Council.
For clarity, only those members who submitted a nomination and participated in a Nominee interview can stand from the floor during the District Council. If they are not successful in the role for which they nominated, they may stand for another role.
